In February 2010 I completed my second BRW Triathlon. Although I
improved on last year I was disappointed with my performance as I was
really hoping to be a lot quicker second time around. I had been
training by myself and it just wasn't cutting it. So after the BRW I
started looking around for a trainer to help me. I needed to find
someone who could help me get stronger, build my endurance and work on
my technique. I found that in Jai and Unlimited Personal Training,
having looked around at a number of gyms and talking to several
trainers. I've been training with Jai for just over 6 months now, in
that time I've lost my fear of the water; I used to get out of breath
doing a lap in the pool and at the BRW I crawled my way around; I'm much
stronger and can go for much longer on the bike and amazingly my running
has gone from 7 minute ks at the start of the year to consistently under
5 minute ks now - and I'm doing 10 and 15k runs easily every week. All
this has been achieved with one focussed session in the gym each week -
I've been keen to do more, but Jai is patient and considered, knowing my
objectives for next year and further on, and ensuring I stay injury
free. He's given me advice on nutrition and I've changed my diet for
the better. I'm very, very pleased with the results so far and can
thorougly recommend Jai and Unlimited to anyone wanting to improve their
fitness.
